XY BREAK TCG Era merchandise

The Japanese XY BREAK Era of the Pokémon Trading Card Game began in late September 2015 with the release of the Blue Shock · Red Flash expansion, starting off a wide array of TCG merchandise centered around new cards. This collection includes a substantial amount of decks, blister packs, books, and many more items utilized to distribute various promotional cards among other promotional materials in conjunction with the new cards. Below is a chronological list of all the items released during the Japanese XY BREAK Era of the Trading Card Game.
Raichu BREAK Evolution Pack

The Raichu BREAK Evolution Pack (Japanese: BREAK進化パック「ライチュウBREAK」 BREAK Evolution Pack RaichuBREAK) is one of two special Japanese-exclusive Pokémon Trading Card Game products released alongside the Blue Shock and Red Flash expansions on September 26, 2015. The Raichu BREAK Evolution Pack serves as an accessible method of introducing players to the BREAK Evolution mechanic that debuted in the accompanying Blue Shock and Red Flash expansions. The pack features the Mouse Pokémon Raichu in addition to other Lightning-types and a number of supporting Trainer cards. It has its own subset symbol, denoted as orange colored SNP.

Noivern BREAK Evolution Pack

Also released on September 26, 2015 is the Noivern BREAK Evolution Pack (Japanese: BREAK進化パック「オンバーンBREAK」 BREAK Evolution Pack OnvernBREAK). Like its counterpart, it helps players to understand the BREAK Evolution mechanic easier. It features the Sound Wave Pokémon Noivern in addition to other Dragon-type and Colorless-type Pokémon, plus a number of supporting Trainer cards. It has its own subset symbol, denoted as purpled colored SNP.

Golduck BREAK + Palkia-EX Combo Deck

The Golduck BREAK + Palkia-EX Combo Deck (Japanese: BREAKコンボデッキ60 ゴルダックBREAK + パルキアEX BREAK Combo Deck 60 GolduckBREAK + PalkiaEX) is a standalone Standard Deck released on October 9, 2015. It allows the mixing of the BREAK Evolution mechanic with the Pokémon-EX mechanic. The deck features the Duck Pokémon Golduck and the Spatial Pokémon Palkia as a BREAK Evolution and a Pokémon-EX respectively, in addition to other Water-types and many supporting Trainer cards.

Double Mega BREAK Set: M Aerodactyl-EX + M Mawile-EX + Luxray BREAK
The Double Mega BREAK Set: M Aerodactyl-EX + M Mawile-EX + Luxray BREAK (Japanese: ダブルメガBREAK セット MプテラEX+MクチートEX+レントラーBREAK Double Mega BREAK Set MPteraEX+MKucheatEX+RentorarBREAK) is a promotional blister pack released on November 20, 2015. It features the Fossil Pokémon Aerodactyl and the Deceiver Pokémon Mawile as both a Pokémon-EX and a M Pokémon-EX with their accompanying Spirit Links, as well as Luxray BREAK and its evolutionary family line. It comes with five booster packs each of the Blue Shock and Red Flash expansion, and a player’s guide.

Grass/Fighting Battle Strength Set

Released on December 26, 2015 are three Battle Strength Decks. One of them is the Grass/Fighting Battle Strength Set (Japanese: バトル強化セット 草/闘), which features a selection of Grass-type and Fighting-type Pokémon, including the Pokémon Leafeon and Golem, which appear as Pokémon-EX. It also includes a number of Trainer and Special Energy cards, which help to support the types included in the deck. The set does not have its own collection number or symbol, with reprinted cards bearing numbers, symbols, and rarity from their source expansions, and new cards printed as XY-P Promotional cards. Each set also comes with a player's guide.

Fire/Lightning Battle Strength Set

Another of the three Battle Strength Decks released on December 26, 2015 is the Fire/Lightning Battle Strength Set (Japanese: バトル強化セット炎/雷). This deck features Fire-type and Lightning-type Pokémon, including Ninetales and Jolteon as Pokémon-EX.

Water/Psychic Battle Strength Set

The last of the three Battle Strength Decks is the Water/Psychic Battle Strength Set (Japanese: バトル強化セット 水/超), released on December 26, 2015. This deck features Water-type and Psychic-type Pokémon instead, which includes Vaporeon and Meowstic, which also appears as Pokémon-EX.

M Mewtwo-EX Special Jumbo Card Pack
The M Mewtwo-EX Special Jumbo Card Pack (Japanese: スペシャルジャンボカードパック MミュウツーEX) was released on December 11th, 2015 and sold exclusively in Pokémon Centers and Joshin electronic stores. There are two variations; it comes with a Mewtwo-EX promo, a jumbo M Mewtwo-EX, four packs of Rage of the Broken Heavens, and four packs of either Red Flash or Blue Shock.

The Blastoise Mega Battle Special Pack (Japanese: カメックスメガバトルスペシャルパック) is a special commemorative pack that is released on April 16th, 2016. It is available for sale to participants in the Japan's Blastoise Mega Battle tournaments only. It comes with two Awakening Psychic King booster packs, a currently unknown Pokémon-EX, and one Premium Champion Pack: EX x M x BREAK booster pack.
