I'm Drake. I've been into Pokémon since the days of Yellow, but don't watch the anime anymore. Currently I've played every Generation III and prior game, with the exception of Leaf Green, and beaten them all. I haven't played Generation IV because I don't have a DS, but once I get it I'm sure I'll end up buying a IV game sometime. It sounds as thought they've really gotten complicated with the move system though, which is not appealing to me, but I'll see for myself someday.
I'm Drake. I've been into Pokémon since the days of Yellow, but don't watch the anime anymore. My early work here consisted of minor error corrections, pointless trivia, and mostly editing wherever I find things to be done. Larger scale edits have been List of Contest Opponents (the Gen 3 section), Trick House, and Pokémon Conquest-related content. I also do work here and there as I see things that need doing.

Completed games:

I've caught a Shiny Caterpie in Fire Red and subsequently evolved it into Shiny Butterfree. I also have a Shiny Magikarp on Ruby that I haven't evolved yet. In Crystal I got myself a Shiny Magby from the Daycare Egg and evolved it into a Shiny Magmar. Pink is not its color, it really isn't.

Teams
Currently host a living Pokedex on Omega Ruby, sans Volcanion and Magiana. Don't care if the former is hacked somewhere, waiting for a legitimate release.

In every game I play, I make my team right off the bat, decide what Pokémon are in my final lineup, when I'll get them, and what to use until then. That in mind I follow the plan and form my team ASAP and start pumping them up. In my earlier days I made a point of replaying a game several times and never using the game Pokémon twice, so I got pretty good at knowing who learns what when and overall what Pokémon work well.
Favorite Pokémon
These are some of the teams I've formed, and by that I mean these are the ones I can remember.
I don't do defense, I like speed, power, and lots of them. The closest I ever came to a staller was my Magmar with Rest and Toxic, but I'm an aggressive battler, if i teach a move to a Pokémon it either does a lot of damage or inflicts a status ailment. I love my dragons, my dinosaurs and my sweepers, so I find and raise the toughest powerhouses I can. I also love large movepools, being able to teach my team nearly anything I need whenever I need it. I like to plan my team out early in the game, once I play through a game the first time I know what I can catch and when, allowing me to decide who to use when and who's going to the Elite Four on replays.

Team Darkness
Among my more treasured engines of destruction are:

This team is sorely outdated, back in Generation II. It was pretty tough back then, but now, not so much. Obviously, the theme was darkness and evil. They were all at 60 for the Battle Tower on Crystal, but I think I ended up raising them higher, can't remember, it's been a while.
Charizard<br>
Gengar<br>
Nidoking<br>

Breloom<br>
Flygon<br>
Milotic<br>
Gyarados<br>
Weavile<br>
Togekiss<br>
Krookodile<br>
Cinccino<br>
Galvantula<br>
Sigilyph<br>
Chandelure<br>
Volcarona<br>
Haxorus<br>
Greninja

The only member of the team I was never really proud of was Sneasel - it never really worked out with it, it learns all sorts of special moves and lacks the damn Spec.Atk to use them properly. Everyone else rocked, especially Team Leader Gengar, my prime sweeper. There was almost nothing it couldn't nail a type advantage against.
Hated Pokémon
Until I found out you can't trade Generation II games with III, I had planned to kick out Sneasel and Quagsire and replace them with Sharpedo and Absol, but obviously that never happened.

Team Dragon
My Gen III Dragon all-star team, I had planned it out and trained the Pokémon, but my dad lost his GBA and thus the trades to actually put the team together never happened, although all the members were ready to go. I have fairly easy requirements about what I consider Dragons - besides the literal Dragon-types, dinosaurs like Nidoking, Nidoqueen, Rhydon, etc, make the cut to me. You get the pattern I'm sure. I love Dragons as a whole, I collect them, and one of my fondest/terrifying moments as a kid was watching Lance's Dragonite sweep my entire team on Yellow. So Dragon-types have made an impression on me since Game 1.

I remember being pleasantly surprised with Sceptile. I'd come to expect a lot of things from Grass-types by Gen II - low speed, lousy move pool, general uselessness. But I never expected a Grass-type Dragon, much less one as strong as Sceptile. It remains a favorite of mine, although Grovyle looks cooler. At the time I didn't have any experience raising Milotic, but now that I've recently got one and seen what it can do, it would take the place of Gyarados should I remake the team some time.

In the end, Altaria ended up taking the crown for disappointment. I was surprised when my sweet little Swablu became a mighty Dragon - with a limited movepool offset only by TMs, low speed and high defense. In other words, IMO Altaria is what a Dragon Pokémon should "not" be, and it was quickly kicked off the team to make way for another Dragon, one that ended up usurping the title of Team Leader from Flygon. It took me a while to figure out the little head-busting scamp could only be found in one room in Meteor Falls, but it was worth the bother...

I can't remember their levels, but I do recall their moves sets. Also, I'm not confident about Aggron. I remember raising one and planning a movepool for it, but don't recall if it actually made the final cut. But it's as good as anything to put up for now.

My current team replaying Ruby, which I'm currently going through Victory Road. Thus, I don't care enough to list their levels and moves because they're subject to change. I'm not happy with Armaldo though, once I beat the Elite Four (not looking forward to Glacia) I'm gonna replace him with Beldum, never trained it before and like what I've heard about Metagross.
My Own Game Set-up
I was bored, so made up my own Legendary trio, myth, and Gym Leader roster. It kinda sucks but meh, it's just something I did out of boredom.

Also, I'm listing the Ribbons each Pokémon has won here too. Some competed for the museum, others just for fun.

Yup, dear ole' Dad gets his own section on my profile. Until his GBA was stolen, my Dad was my top rival, and by top I mean only. At one time we played parallel to each other, me on Gold and him on Silver, and we clashed across a Link cable a lot. He's pretty good, but he's never played Gen III, only II. He also never shows much variance in his team, one way or the other he ends up using the same seven Pokémon over and over in some combination, but they serve him well. He doesn't play anymore, but then, he doesn't have his own GBA anymore. If he gets another one, I plan to introduce him to Ruby and Gen III.

Gen I: Yellow, Red, Blue
Gen II: Gold, Silver, Crystal
Gen III: Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed
Gen IV: Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, Soul Silver
Gen V: White, White 2
Gen VI: X, Omega Ruby

Currently host a living Pokedex on Omega Ruby, sans Volcanion and Magiana. Don't care if the former is hacked somewhere, waiting for a legitimate release.

Favorite Pokémon

I don't do defense, I like speed, power, and lots of them. The closest I ever came to a staller was my Magmar with Rest and Toxic, but I'm an aggressive battler, if i teach a move to a Pokémon it either does a lot of damage or inflicts a status ailment. I like to plan my team out early in the game, once I play through a game the first time I know what I can catch and when, allowing me to decide who to use when and who's going to the Elite Four on replays.

Hated Pokémon

Jynx. I don't care about the controversy, personally I think the idea it was racist is a load of crap. Anyway, first off the thing is ugly. It's a bad design, and purple or black skin, it is just an ugly Pokémon, horrible design. Second, its voice is annoying, its cry is loud and obnoxious and makes no sense. Granted, a lot of Pokémon cries sound nothing like their names, but Jynx's cry sounds like nothing. Third, it's attack. Lovely Kiss? And Gen V brings us Scraggy and Scrafty. My problem with them is simple...what the fuck are those things supposed to be? Scraggy is some sort of lizard thing holding up pants of its own skin, what happens if it lets go, does the skin fall down? Does it have to hold it up all the time, what if it has to run? And it has a mouth like a car grill set in an eternal frown, or is it eternally chewing on its lower lip? And what kind of name is Scraggy? It doesn't even mean anything, yeah it's derived from words, but it isn't a pun or funny like other Pokémon. And its evolution Scrafty is just as ugly, same stupid pants thing, same dumb mouth, except now it's eyelids are drooping so it looks stoned/hungover as well as ugly. God this thing looks stupid.

Shinies

I've caught a Shiny Caterpie in Fire Red and subsequently evolved it into Shiny Butterfree. I've caught a Shiny Magikarp on Ruby that I didn't evolve. In Crystal I got myself a Shiny Magby from the Daycare Egg and evolved it into a Shiny Magmar. Pink is not its color, it really isn't.
