Mystery Part

The Mystery Part (Japanese: なぞのパーツ Puzzle Part) and Secret Slab (Japanese: ひみつのせきばん Secret Lithograph) are functionally identical items that appear in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky. When one is in the bag, certain Legendary or Mythical Pokémon will appear on preset dungeon floors. The majority of them only appear after the player and their partner have recruited Manaphy and he tells them about the Marine Resort.

The Mystery Part and Secret Slab are obtained as rewards from random missions, such as the one in the following Wonder Mail password:

Description MDTDS An ancient stone slab inscribed with what seems to be prehistoric legend, rumored to hold an incredible secret that has never yet been deciphered.

Trivia

• While most legendaries recruitable by this method require the unlocking of Marine Resort, Lugia and Ho-Oh do not require this, and can be found before Manaphy tells the player about Marine Resort.
