(Japanese: ぼうふう Windstorm) is a damage-dealing Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation V.

Effect

Windstorm deals damage and has a 30% chance of confusing the target. It can't confuse a target that has a Substitute. Windstorm can hit non-adjacent opponents in Triple Battles.

Windstorm has 100% accuracy when used during heavy rain, and has 50% accuracy if used during bright sunlight. It can hit a Pokémon during the semi-invulnerable turns of moves such as Fly, Bounce, and Freefall .
