Competition
The competition is identical to a regular relay race. It consists of three legs and Trainers enter with three Pokémon that are able to either fly or float. The Pokémon that is flying carries a ribbon it has to hand over to the next Pokémon. Participants command their Pokémon from hot air balloons.
The Pokémon Sky Relay starts in an open area. The first leg goes through a forest and ends at the end of the forest. The Pokémon in the second leg make a circle through the valley, and then pass through a field of towering rocks. At the end of this, the third leg starts.
