This is the Bulbapedia walkthrough for Pokémon Gold and Silver. This walkthrough follows the original Game Boy Color version, not Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver.

Route 3

Route 3

Route 3 is a rugged route that links Pewter City to Mt. Moon in the east. Beat up the few Trainers here and enter the cave.

If you break it with Rock Smash, you can find a Moon Stone hidden underneath. The two Clefairy return to worship the moon every week.

Route 4

Route 4 returns you to Cerulean City. Grab the Ultra Ball and the HP Up, then fly back to Pewter City and head south.
