Pokémon world locations

The Swampy Cave (Japanese: 湿原空洞 Wetland Hollow) is a type of hideaway seen in the Grand Underground. It can only be accessed after the player obtains the Explorer Kit in Eterna City from the Underground Man, and features Pokémon that roam the cave freely, instead of being found in tall grass.

Geography

Swampy Caves are bog-like, moss covered caverns with heavy flora, containing small lakes. The water can be Surfed on to encounter Pokémon visible in the water. Some rocks and plants are taller than the player, and must be navigated around.
