Professor Phorus (Japanese: リン博士 Dr. Rin) is a Pokémon Professor who appears in Pokémon UNITE. As the head of the Aeos Research Institute, she studies Aeos energy, a powerful energy that permeates Aeos Island.
In the games
Professor Phorus is a scientist who discovered and implemented the use of Aeos energy. She is assisted by a researcher named Erbie.
Her partner Pokémon is Metagross.
In the manga
Pokémon UNITE Manga - Come On Over to Aeos Island!
Professor Phorus appeared in the first chapter Aeos Energy, reminiscing about her youth with her Metagross. She then announced the opening of Aeos Island for Unite Battle tournaments alongside Erbie.
Phorus reappeared in In Search of an Aeos Energy Spot. She and Erbie were searching for a new Aeos energy spot in a mountainous area, where they then discovered the Theia Sky Ruins.
Pokémon
Professor Phorus has had Metagross since she was a child, when it was a Beldum. It evolved as she grew up and now assists her by carrying equipment or Phorus herself.
