In the games
In the main storyline, Ujiyasu plays a minor role as the lead Warlord of Cragspur. The player must defeat him, Kai, and four other warriors to claim the kingdom.

Historical origin
Ujiyasu is based on the real-life Hōjō Ujiyasu of Japanese history. He had a total of seven sons, including Ujimasa (Hōjō Ujimasa), Ujiteru (Hōjō Ujiteru), and Ujikuni (Hōjō Ujikuni).
