Trainer Tips
- Use Dig to return to the entrance of any place. It is convenient for exploring caves and other landmarks.
Trivia
Pre-release picture. | Final cut. |
- Picnicker Brooke's Japanese name is イクエ Ikue and her only Pokémon is Pikachu. This may be a reference to Ikue Ohtani, the anime voice actress of Ash's Pikachu.
- Upon defeat, Juggler Irwin exclaims, "Oops, dropped my balls!" The innuendo became an infamous quote in the Pokémon fandom.
- This route was seen as one of the first pre-release pictures of Pokémon Gold and Silver. It depicts a simplified version of Route 35 and the National Park's southern entrance, except with water instead of trees and fences and no open path to the right.
