Route Description
Route 108 (Japanese: 108番水道 Water Route 108) is a water route in southern Hoenn, connecting 107 and 109. The Abandoned Ship or Sea Mauville is located at the center of the route.
This route is a long strip across the sea connecting 107 in the west to 109 in the east. Some swimmers are found along this short route, along with commonly found water Pokémon. The northern and southern edges of the route are lined by curved, rocky boundaries. The route also contains many small sections of shallow water upon which one can walk. Some of them contain hidden items, despite the size of the area. A ship named the S.S. Cactus sunk here and still remains here today as the Abandoned Ship.

Route 108 and 107 both appeared in Abandon Ship! as Ash and ashfr were making their way towards Slateport City. Their voyage came to an abrupt stop when TRT revealed they were captaining the vessel, which later ran out of fuel. As a result, the group were stranded and drifted over to the Forsaken Ship. On board they encountered Tommy, who later escorted them to Slateport.

Route 108 (Japanese: 108番水道 Water Route 108) is a water route in southern Hoenn, connecting Route 107 and Route 109. The Abandoned ShipRSE or Sea MauvilleORAS is located at the center of the route.

In the games

Route description

This route is a long strip across the sea connecting Route 107 in the west to Route 109 in the east. Some swimmers are found along this short route, along with commonly found water Pokémon. The northern and southern edges of the route are lined by curved, rocky boundaries. The route also contains many small sections of shallow water upon which one can walk. Some of them contain hidden items, despite the size of the area.

In Generation III, a ship named the S.S. Cactus sunk here and still remains here as the Abandoned Ship. In Generation VI, the ruins of the research facility Sea Mauville, which now act as a nature preserve, are located to the north of Route 108.

Route 108 in the anime

Route 108 and Route 107 both appeared in Abandon Ship! as Ash and his friends were making their way towards Slateport City. Their voyage came to an abrupt stop when Team Rocket revealed they were captaining the vessel, which later ran out of fuel. As a result, the group were stranded and drifted over to the Forsaken Ship. On board they encountered Tommy, who later escorted them to Slateport.
