Effect

Shadow Rave is a stronger version of Shadow Wave, and deals damage to both opponents on the battlefield.

As Shadow Pokémon cannot be traded, and since Pokémon Contests do not exist in Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness, Shadow Rave cannot be used in Contests.
