Silent Chasm (Japanese: 沈黙 Silent Valley) is the fifth dungeon in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX. It consists of 9 floors and is a cavern located inside a vast canyon.

The initial mission in this dungeon involves the rescue of Jumpluff as well as Shiftry's Rescue Team. At the end of the dungeon on the first visit, the player encounters Zapdos, who takes Shiftry hostage to Mt. Thunder.

Gameplay

In the original games, there is no chance of finding a Monster House, a shop, or a buried item in this dungeon. However, in the remake, Kecleon shops may be found in the dungeon.
