Powder Snow (Japanese: こなゆき Powder Snow) is a damage-dealing Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation II.

Effect

Generation II

Powder Snow inflicts damage and has a 9.8% chance of freezing the target. Powder Snow cannot freeze the target if it has a Substitute or already has a major status ailment.

Generation III onward

The effects are the same as the previous generation; however, it has a 10% chance of freezing the target instead.
