Wandering Spirit (Japanese: さまようたましい Wandering Spirit) is an Ability introduced in Generation VIII. It is the signature Ability of Galarian Yamask and Runerigus.

When a Pokémon with Wandering Spirit is hit by a contact move, it exchanges Abilities with the attacker. If a Pokémon affected by Wandering Spirit is switched out, it regains its original Ability.

The Ability will trigger even if the Pokémon with Wandering Spirit faints from the attacking move.

The Ability will not trigger if the attacking Pokémon is Dynamaxed.
