Biruritchi resides in Team GR Castle on a far-away island. He challenges the player in a best-two-out-of-three card match, playing with a deck chosen from the four below at random. He admits defeat, thanks the player, and gives up the GR King Coin, also known as Togepi Coin, as well as the Great Rocket's Mewtwo card. King Biruritchi gives the player a Great Rocket's Mewtwo after each successive defeat.

After defeating King Biruritchi twice, the player is granted access to the Sealed Fort.
