Lively Town (Japanese: ワイワイタウン Waiwai Town) is the central village in Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon. The player and partner first travel there after they leave Serene Village.

Café Connection

Run by Kangaskhan, this cafe is where players can connect with other Pokémon and pick up rewards from doing jobs.
Rockin' Lock
Run by Klefki, this shop opens boxes found in dungeons. Once Klefki has been recruited, it can open more than one box at a time.
Hawlucha's Slam School
- Main article: Hawlucha's Slam School
Run by Hawlucha, this store can have a Pokémon re-learn or forget unwanted moves.
Meowth Theater

Run by Meowth, Meowth can film an adventure in one of five dungeons: Meowth in Black, My Fair Misdreavus, For a Few Boldores More, Casameownca, or It's a Meowderful Life. Players can also watch previous films, watch other player's films, or exchange films.
Kecleon Shop
- Main article: Kecleon Shop
This shop is run by Kecleon, and sells food, Wonder Orbs, TMs, and other various items. The Deposit Box is found next to it. Once Kecleon has been recruited, there is a "Treasures" section in the shop.
Glorious Gold
- Main article: Glorious Gold
After a certain amount of job requests, Cofagrigus opens up this shop. Gold Bars can be exchanged for money (555 per Gold Bar) or various items. After connecting with Cofagrigus, the player is able to exchange gold bars for "treasures", such as special looplets that can only be obtained from his shop.
Lapras Travel Liner
- Main article: Lapras Travel Liner
Run by Lapras, the Lapras Travel Liner can take the player and partner to any other continent provided the corresponding Lapras Liner Pass has been bought from the Kecleon Shop.
Expedition Society
Members
- Ampharos is the chief of the Expedition Society. The other members trust Ampharos, despite his poor sense of direction.
- Mawile is the Expedition Society's archaeologist, researching the history of the world.
- Jirachi is the Expedition Society's astronomer. He was born in Star Cave. When he sleeps, he doesn't awaken easily.
- Buizel is the Exploration Society's specialist in underwater expeditions. As an older companion, Buizel protects the player and their partner.
- Archen is the Exploration Society's specialist in sky expeditions, despite the fact that he cannot fly.
- Dedenne is in charge of communications of the Expedition Society.
- Bunnelby is the Exploration Society's specialist in underground searches.
- Swirlix is the steward, in charge of cooking food for the Expedition Society. She is a glutton and occasionally eats the food before it is served.
Nexus
The Nexus is the World Map in the Expedition Society building. In the player's first encounter, Swirlix and Dedenne accidentally destroy it.
