Pokémon Adventures
Soliera debuted in Meeting the Ultra Recon Squad. She was first seen receiving a call from Dulse, who reported that he and Zossie lost the Lunala they were using to traverse through Ultra Space. As they talked, Soliera checked on the condition of Necrozma, who was in pain despite having absorbed Solgaleo to become its Dusk Mane form.
In Arrival at the Scientific Megalopolis, Zossie arrived at the Ultra Megalopolis with Sun and Moon. Shortly after, a Stakataka appeared, looking to battle with Necrozma. Wanting to see if the bonds between Trainers and their Pokémon could lead to a solution that would restore light to the Ultra Megalopolis, Soliera lured Stakataka to the Megalo Tower, forcing Sun and Moon to battle it. After Stakataka was defeated, Necrozma was alerted to Lunala's presence. Necrozma released Solgaleo and leapt off of the Megalo Tower to try and absorb Lunala as well. Sun and Moon tried to assist Lunala, but were stopped by Lusamine. A comment from Sun angered Lusamine, who sent out a Nihilego and had it fuse with her.
In Ray of Light!! Through the Crack in the Sky!, Necrozma fled to the top of Megalo Tower while Lusamine chased after it. Zossie and the others tried pursuing them, but were sucked into an Ultra Wormhole Necrozma made, dropping everyone into the skies above Mount Lanakila. Soliera and the others later witnessed Necrozma battling against Zygarde in its Complete Forme. During the clash, Necrozma opened a wormhole, summoning Dulse to Alola. It absorbed the Ultranecrozium Z Dulse had with him, allowing Necrozma to transform into Ultra Necrozma. The Ultra Recon Squad decided the best option to stop Necrozma was to capture it, but due to Lusamine's meddling, there were no Beast Balls left to use. Nanu stated he could have another Beast Ball delivered, but told Sun and Zygarde to keep Necrozma busy while they waited for it to arrive.
Later, Moon joined in the battle, and with a combined attack from Zygarde, Lunala, and Solgaleo, Necrozma was finally downed. Anabel arrived with the final Beast Ball, but it was destroyed when Necrozma launched one final attack. Sun revealed he picked up the Beast Ball Moon tried using on Lusamine earlier, which Anabel decided to let Zossie use. Zossie captured Necrozma with the Beast Ball, hoping that it could one day be healed of its injured state.
Several months later, Soliera rejected the Aether Foundation's request to do cooperative research with them, stating she would only do so with Moon.
Trivia
- Soliera is left-handed.
- During every first turn of battle, Soliera will use an X Sp. Def on her Pokémon.
