By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Personal content

Hey, I noticed you've been putting personal content on your talk page. As per the talk page policy and userspace policy, personal content is only to go on your userpage, not your talk page. Your talk page is for receiving messages (like this). --SnorlaxMonster 15:57, 8 June 2013 (UTC)

Joegly (Japanese: Jack Jack) is a dual-type Electric/Gas Pokémon.

It evolves into Joefly starting at level 52, which evolves into Joeglide when it reaches level 78.

Biology

Physiology

Joegly appears to be nothing more than a black ball of ghostly matter or gas that is surrounded by a purple glow of smog. Joegly has big, white eyes and a mouth with a pair of fangs in it. Joegly's face is similar to Cloyster's, but the two Pokémon aren't related.

Gender differences

None.

Special abilities

Joegly's "hands"

Due to having a body made of gas, Joegly can slip into any place it wants. However, Joegly's body will dwindle away when exposed to a strong wind but it can probably regenerate itself later. A Joegly is capable of toppling an Indian Elephant within two seconds by enveloping it in poisonous gas.

Despite Joegly's evolutionary level, it is quite powerful at using special attacks such as Shadow Ball, Dark Pulse, Thunderbolt, and Energy Ball. Joegly can learn quite a few moves with all sorts of disruptive effects such as Will-O-Wisp, Confuse Ray, Hypnosis, Taunt, and Embargo.

There have been claims that on rare occasions, a Joegly can gain the ability to speak like a human and transform itself. However, it apparently can communicate with telepathy.

Joegly can learn and use the elemental punches, despite appearing to have no hands. Though it can create hands from its gas.

Behavior

As a Ghost-type Pokémon, Joegly tend to be pranksters that go scaring people just for the fun of it. They are also proficient at sneaking up on unsuspecting prey and putting it to sleep or poisoning it through their skin. As Joegly's body is blown away by wind, groups of them gather under the eaves of houses to prevent being blown away.

Habitat

Joegly live in old, dilapidated buildings and can also be found at cemeteries. It is a common sight in Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh.
