Feather Dance (Japanese: フェザーダンス Feather Dance), formatted as FeatherDance prior to Pokémon X and Y, is a non-damaging Flying-type move introduced in Generation III. Prior to Generation IV it was the signature move of the Pidgey evolution line.

Effect

Feather Dance lowers the target's Attack stat by two stages.

Description

Games Description
RSE Envelops the foe with down to sharply reduce Attack.
FRLG The foe is covered with a mass of down that sharply cuts the Attack stat.
Envelops target with down to sharply reduce Attack.
The user covers the foe with a mass of down that sharply lowers the Attack stat.

The user covers the target's body with a mass of down that harshly lowers its Attack stat.

  Chatot's body becomes surrounded in gold, then it waves its wings around in a dance-like motion and its whole body begins to glow gold. Then, golden powder appears above the opponent, causing it to become tired and weak.
