Blastoise (Japanese: カメックス Kamex, German: Turtok, French: Tortank) is a Water-type Pokémon.
Flavor text
- Pokémon Emerald
- The waterspouts that protrude from its shell are highly accurate. Their bullets of water can precisely nail tin cans from a distance of over 160 feet.
Name origin
Blastoise's name is a combination of blast, referring to its cannons, and tortoise. The kame in Kamex comes from the Japanese word for tortoise/turtle, 亀.
Its design appears to be a turtle mixed with aspects of a tank.
