Swampert (Japanese: ラグラージ Laglarge; German: Sumpex; French: Laggron) is a Water/Ground-type Pokémon.
Name origins
Swampert's name is probably derived from swamp. Its Japanese name is probably a combination of lag and large, referring to its size.
Like Mudkip and Marshtomp, Swampert is based on the mudskipper.
