Rock Blast inflicts damage, hitting the target 2-5 times per use. There is a 37.5% chance that it will hit 2 times, a 37.5% chance that it will hit 3 times, a 12.5% chance that it will hit 4 times, and a 12.5% chance that it will hit 5 times. Each attack made has an equal chance to land a critical hit.
Rock Blast will end immediately if it breaks a Substitute. Bide and Counter will only acknowledge the last hit of this move.
Generation IV
The effects are the same as the previous generation, except it will continue attacking after a Substitute is broken.
Generation V
Accuracy increased from 80 to 90. Unlike previous generations, if Focus Sash, Focus Band, or Sturdy activate before the last hit is dealt, the following hit will cause the defending Pokémon to faint. Each hit will also cause Weak Armor to activate.

The red and white plates on Armaldo's neck glow white. Then, the back of its claws releases sand and it hits the opponent with them, or Armaldo holds out its claws and three light blue rings surround its body. The rings then form into glowing white rocks that circle around its body. Armaldo then pulls up its claws and the rocks come together in between them. It then throws the rocks at the opponent.
Three yellow rings appear and spin around Wormadam's body. The rings glow white and form into small rocks that spin around Wormadam's body. It then fires the rocks at the opponent, that explode on contact.
Three light blue rings appear and spin around Golem's body. The rings then glow white and turn into glowing white rocks that spin around Golem's body as well. Golem then fires the glowing white rocks at the opponent.
Graveler waves one of its arms and multiple rocks from all around rise into the air and fire themselves at the opponent repeatedly. While the rocks fly at the opponent, they leave behind a white trail of energy.
