Origin
Chatot is apparently based on a parrot. Its head looks like a musical note, and its tail resembles a metronome.
Name origin
Chatot's name comes from chat and parrot. Chatot's Japanese name comes from the words parrot and rap. The name could also come fromt he Japanese word perapera, which can mean "fluent in languages" and is also similar to "blablabla", refering to the fact that real world parrots can learn to speak human languages, and sometimes talk too much.
