Pokémon Trainer (Super Smash Bros.)
Pokémon Change (Japanese: ポケモンチェンジ Pokémon Change) is the move used by Pokémon Trainer that makes him switch out his current Pokémon for another in his party in the order Squirtle → Ivysaur → Charizard.
The Pokémon Change is his Down Special Move. They all share the same damage meter so they don't recover damage when switched. However, another stat called Stamina comes in to play and affects each Pokemon's ability to battle.
Each Pokémon begins with 2 minutes of Stamina. Every attack performed by that Pokemon reduces Stamina by one additional second. Once the Pokemon has 0 Stamina, the Pokemon adopts a "tired" idle animation, and knockback and damage from its attacks are reduced (as if its Attack and Special Attack stats were reduced). When the Pokemon is recalled and no longer battling, it recovers 2 seconds of Stamina for each second of rest, fully recharging after just one minute.
