Trivia

In Pokémon Stadium 2, Bugsy erroneously refers to this move as "Megaphone" when his Heracross (present only in Round 2) uses it. This is possibly due to a translation error, as ホーン can mean horn or phone (as an alternate writing of フォーン) in Japanese.
Megahorn has the highest base power of all Bug-type moves, excluding Z-Moves, Max Moves, and G-Max Moves.
