Gorebyss (Japanese: サクラビス Sakurabyss) is a Water-type Pokémon.
It evolves from Clamperl when traded holding a DeepSeaScale. It is one of Clamperl's final forms, the other being Huntail.
Biology
Gorebyss is a pink eel-like Pokémon with a long, thin mouth. It has two purple shell-like structures on its chest which cause it to resemble a mermaid. It also has a purple-tipped antenna-like fin on top of its head, a similar, if shorter fin below its mouth, and two small eyelashes on each eye. Its tail has two bands of lighter coloration, and at the tip of it there is a rounded purple fin. Its shape suggests that it was modeled after a pipefish or snipe eel. Its body is durable enough to withstand high pressure levels in the deep sea where it lives. Its pink body becomes brighter during the spring and after eating. It stabs its prey with its mouth to drain its body fluids. It also feeds on seaweed.
