Location of Hiun City in Isshu.

(Japanese: ヒウンシティ Hiun City) is a large seaside city located in south central Isshu. Unlike past cities, Hiun is a huge, sprawling metropolis, sporting many towering skyscrapers and other tall buildings. The city exists on Isshu's central peninsula, south of the desert and north of the sea, making for a perfect harbor city.

The city has only two possible entrances on foot: from the desert in the north, and from Isshu's eastern third by way of the Sky Arrow Bridge.

Hiun City is one of the largest cities in the Pokémon world that has been revealed, containing many structural elements that have not been seen in cities in other regions. The city's core is a central business district, with huge skyscrapers and other commercial buildings; a series of alleyways lead into this core, where smaller shops are set up among city traffic. The city's outskirts are bounded on all sides by harbor, where ships provide traffic to other regions and nations in the Pokémon world.

Places of interest

Sky Arrow Bridge

The Sky Arrow Bridge is a long suspension bridge located in eastern Hiun City. The bridge links the city to another section of Isshu and serves as a means of transportation into and out of the city. The bridge has two spans to support it across the water and loops off on the eastern entrance. The lower part of the bridge is built for vehicle traffic while suspended above the roadway is a pedestrian walkway. The bridge can simply just be walked across and shows a stunning view of the city when traveled.

Other locations

Other areas and places of interest can be seen in pre-release pictures of Pokémon Black and White, but they have not been fully explored or explained. Many of the skyscrapers are oddly structured and can be entered, some have large banners on the buildings. In one of the city alleyways there is also a pink shop with many people gathered around it. On the outskirts of the city, there is a viewing platform for the Sky Arrow Bridge, as well as the ocean. A multi-storied Pokémon Center can also be seen on the harbor side.

Gym Battle

The Hiun Gym is the official gym of Hiun City. It is based on Template:Type2 Pokémon. The Gym Leader is Arty. Trainers who defeat him receive the Beetle Badge.
