To Thine Own Pokémon Be True! (Japanese: ポケモンピンポン大会!エテボースがんばる!! Pokémon Ping Pong Tournament! Eteboth Does Her Best!!) is the 124th episode of the Diamond & Pearl series, and the 590th episode of the Pokémon anime. It first aired in Japan on April 23, 2009 and will air in the United States on September 12, 2009.
Synopsis
Template:Incomplete synopsis The Pokémon Ping-pong tournament is about to begin. everyone is excited as they walk out of a Pokémon center. Just then, Barry appears say that he entered the contest too. As usual, he an Ash are getting competitive about it. Dawn asks about the ping-pong contest, and Barry explains it is a contest where a trainer and their Pokémon work together to win. Dawn decides she will enter.At the building where the Pokémon Ping-Pong tournament every sign up. Ash is using Pikachu and Dawn is using Ambipom. They find a bunch of ping-pong tables outside the building and decide to practice there. Dawn and Ash decide to go against each other, so Dawn flips a coin on her Pokétch to decide who gets first serve. Ash serves first and the play as a man named Ō walks by and sees there playing ping-pong. Pikachu hits a curve ball, but Dawn cant hit it, so Ambipom hits the ball and it goes on fire and Ō stops it and Ash and Dawn notice him and they introuduce themselves. Who will win the Pokémon ping pong tournment?
