Mochi (Japanese: もち Mochi) is a type of item introduced in Generation IX. They can be obtain from participating in Ogre Oustin’. They can be used to increase the base points of your Pokémon’s stat.

In the core series games
Mechanics
The first six mochi each provide one effort value (EV) in a particular stat, similar to Feathers. This consumes the mochi.
The seventh mochi, the Fresh-Start Mochi, can be used to reset all of the base points of your Pokémon’s stats.
