Misty Terrain (Japanese: ミストフィールド Mist Field) is a non-damaging Fairy-type move introduced in Generation VI.

Effect

Misty Terrain prevents status conditions and reduces the damage taken from Dragon-type moves by 50% for any Pokémon on the ground for five turns.

If Misty Terrain is in effect, the move Nature Power becomes Moonblast.

Description

Games Description
The user covers the ground under everyone's feet with mist for five turns. This protects Pokémon on the ground from status conditions.
