Crabhammer (Japanese: クラブハンマー Crab Hammer) is a damage-dealing Water-type move introduced in Generation I. Prior to Generation III, it was the signature move of the Krabby evolution family.

Trivia

• All Pokémon that can learn this move receive STAB from it.
• Based on their Japanese names, Octazooka and Crabhammer are the only moves so far that have a name of a Pokémon in them. In this case, Crab is Krabby's Japanese name.
  • Coincidentally, they are both Water-type moves.
• Crabhammer and Aqua Tail have the same type, base power, and PP, and both are physical moves that make contact. Starting in Generation V, they also have the same accuracy and the only difference between them is increased critical hit ratio of Crabhammer.
