Hisuian Poké Balls appeared in the anime in JNS01, as part of the Sinnoh Fes. Cynthia gave Ash, Goh, and Dawn a old Poké Ball each, replicated using old schematics, and challenged them to catch a Rowlet, Cyndaquil, or Oshawott with them.
