(Japanese: みずのちかい Water Oath) is a damage-dealing Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation V.

Effect

Water Oath inflicts regular damage in single battle, with additional effect when combined by Fire Oath or Grass Oath in double or triple battles.

If it is followed on the same turn by Fire Oath it will double the probability of secondary effects taking place for four turns. This effect does not stack with Serene Grace.

If it follows Grass Oath on the same turn, it will decrease the speed of all foes by half for four turns.
