Sludge (Japanese: ヘドロこうげき Sludge Stream) is a damage-dealing Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation I.

Effect

Sludge does damage and has a 30% chance of poisoning the target. Sludge cannot poison a target that has a Substitute, already has a major status ailment, or is a Template:Type2 or Template:Type2.
