Dynamax Cannon (Japanese: ダイマックスほう Daimax Cannon) is a damage-dealing Dragon-type move introduced in Generation VIII. It is one of the signature moves of Eternatus.
Effect
Dynamax Cannon deals damage. If the target is Dynamaxed or Gigantamaxed, its damage is doubled. The bonus does not apply to Eternamax Eternatus, despite its similarities to a Gigantamaxed Pokémon.
Encore fails if the target's last move was Dynamax Cannon.
Generation VIII
Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
Dynamax Cannon cannot be selected in a battle.
Generation IX
As there is no Dynamax mechanic in Generation IX, Dynamax Cannon now deals damage with no secondary effect.
