Instruct (Japanese: さいはい Command) is a non-damaging Psychic-type move introduced in Generation VII. It is the signature move of Oranguru.
Effect
This article is incomplete. Please feel free to edit this article to add missing information and complete it. Reason: Full list of moves |
Instruct causes the target to repeat its most recent move immediately; PP will be deducted from moves used in this manner. When hit by this move, it counts as another turn, so the target can be prevented from moving by sleep, confusion, Truant. It doesn't work if the target is in the middle of Bide,Outrage or Uproar. If the Instructed move is Fake Out or First Impression, the target will use them, but the moves will fail.
It will fail if the target used Instruct itself, Bide, Struggle, Hyper Beam, a Z-Move, a move that calls another move (such as Metronome), or a move that has no PP left.
If powered up by a Psychium Z into Z-Instruct, the user's Special Attack rises one stage.
