Thunder Fang (Japanese: かみなりのキバ Thunder Fang) is a damage-dealing Electric-type move introduced in Generation IV. It is TM66 in Pokémon Sword and Shield.

Effect

Thunder Fang deals damage and has a 10% chance of paralyzing the opponent. It also has an independent 10% chance of causing the target to flinch, if the user attacks before the target.

Thunder Fang can also be used as part of a Contest Spectacular combination, with the user gaining an extra three appeal points if the move Charge was used in the prior turn.

  Luxray's fangs glow yellow and sparks of yellow electricity surround them. It then bites down on the opponent, and they become surrounded in yellow sparks; or, sparks of yellow electricity form inside Luxray's mouth. The sparks grow, forming into four fang-shaped, electric masses, and they stretch to the outside of its mouth. Luxray then bites down onto its opponent with the four electrical fangs.
