The Preview Button
Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Changes button... Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Thanks! --★Jo the Marten★ ಠ_ಠ♥ 22:56, 1 March 2013 (UTC)
I can't speak for Dennou Zenshi or Zesty Cactus, but since neither of them seem to have made an effort to inform you why they reverted your trivium on the "Generation II" page, I thought I should come here and say it's incredibly likely that it's because now Generations I, II, and VI have introduced new types, so it's no longer notable. For the same reason that "first to do X since the last time something did X" isn't notable, "only one to do X except this other one that also did X" isn't notable either. The trivia sections would balloon out-of-control if we included all the almost-but-not-quite-unique things. Better to just keep it to unique trivia. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 20:18, 14 June 2013 (UTC)
Just to let you know, I've now tested (in Diamond) using both Safeguard and Light Screen on my own team and then using Defog, and Defog didn't clear either of them from my team. When I got a Ditto to Transform and use Safeguard, though, Defog did remove it.
I also used Stealth Rock on a wild Pokemon and then used Defog, and Stealth Rock was cleared. Then I got a Ditto to use Stealth Rock on my team, and Defog didn't clear it away.
You say you have experience in competetive battling. If that's on physical games and consoles, then perhaps you could give more details on the circumstances in which you're seeing Defog affecting the user's side of the field instead of the target's. If not, though, then it is very likely that whatever software you may be using to enjoy your competitive scene is not working correctly. Tiddlywinks (talk) 15:42, 19 April 2015 (UTC)

Signing and Edit Summary
Please remember to sign your comments with four tildes or by clicking the signature box on the edit box. You also may not re-sign an unsigned comment as it gives off the wrong timestamp. Also, please watch your language when writing edit summaries. I know it'll most likely not be viewed or seen by children, but still, please keep them clean and civil.--ForceFire 03:26, 24 April 2015 (UTC)
