Daytime begins and lasts an hour longer?

Wait, so, 3:00 AM is Morning, and it lasts until 10:00 AM, and then it's Day until 9:00 PM? TTEchidna 16:39, 7 October 2010 (UTC)

Time Jumping?

The season remains the same until you go into and out of an indoors area. Unlike the morning/day/night changes, it doesn't snap instantly. Probably because that'd be a lame transition at midnight of the last day of the month. TTEchidna 05:44, 8 October 2010 (UTC)

Not to mention the possibility of being stuck in a winter exclusive area for three months. I have also been able to change both seasons and time on my copy to confirm my suspicion on nights being longer in winter. —BlackySully 00:53, 10 October 2010 (UTC)

Casteliacones available during winter in BW2

I have found in BW2 that Casteliacones can be bought in Winter as well. Should the mention of BW2 be removed from the entries on Casteliacones? If so, should it be noted somewhere that the season doesn't matter in BW2? It is indeed part Winter and Spring. However, a lot of people general consider it Spring overall. Same with June being Summer, September being fall, and December being Winter. --Hoenn Master 15:48, 9 July 2013 (UTC)

Title

I don't think it's good to have season and seasons lead to different pages. We normally give pages singular titles; the only reason this page has a plural title is to distinguish it from the anime seasons.

I think anime seasons are the more likely intended target of a search for season. So while it would certainly be easier to title a page "Season (anime)", I think we should instead give this page a parenthetical disambiguation. My suggestion is "Season (time)", but I'm open to better titles if other people have suggestions. --SnorlaxMonster 03:50, 14 June 2020 (UTC)

I think that the majority of users searching "season" are looking for anime seasons. So I'd rather leave that page where it is, but move this one. I'm happy with "Season (mechanic)", although it does make it more difficult to cover seasons that occur in the anime/manga/etc. (not that they currently are anyway). --SnorlaxMonster 06:14, 17 June 2020 (UTC)

I don’t have experience knowing, but my guess is that the manga, any manga, would be better at acknowledging seasons better than the anime. I guess outside the Summer Academy and Summer Camp. I could swear a few of the festivals were season-specific too. Didn’t "The Ghost of Maiden's Peak" have Brock lament he “wasted” his summer, at least in the English dub? Similarly to what Tiddlywinks said above, I do not think grasping for content straws other areas of the franchise (anime, manga, etc.) is worth it if the content just isn't there. I am leaning towards just disambiguating this page with Season (mechanic), as I feel that SnorlaxMonster's assessment is correct that people would be looking for the seasons involving the anime and so I'm not sure if landing on a disambiguation page would be the best instead of having a direct page to land on. --Pokemaster 97 23:51, 17 June 2020 (UTC)
