Trivia

Atsushi Nagashima, the game director of the TCG, described Celebi and Venusaur as "protectors of the forest." In the background story for the card, Celebi has come from the future to meet Venusaur, the forest's keeper; the initial meeting of the two is depicted in Shin Nagasawa's illustration for the SM Promotional print. Mitsuhiro Arita has stated that the duo's pose in the Regular print is inspired by professional wrestlers locking arms with each other.[1]

Origin

Pollen Hazard is an attack that first appeared on Venusaur ex from EX FireRed & LeafGreen. Solar Beam is a move in the Pokémon games that both Celebi and Venusaur can learn, the former via TM22.
