• The Japanese episode title is almost an exact copy of the Japanese title for SM042, which also involved Ash and his classmates interacting with Misty and Brock.

This is the longest absence a Pokémon belonging to a main character has ever had in the main series. It surpassed the previous record, which was held by Misty's Staryu and was also set in the Sun & Moon series, by one episode.
• Your Adventure is used as an insert song when Ash, his classmates, and Misty are playing with Pokémon on Treasure Island.
