Regirock (Japanese: レジロック Regirock; German: Regirock; French: Regirock) is a Rock-type Pokémon.
Flavor text
- Pokémon Emerald
- A Pokémon that is made entirely of rocks and boulders. If parts of its body chip off in battle, Regirock repairs itself by adding new rocks.
Name origin
Regirock's name comes from regi, which is Latin for king, and the word rock.
This Pokémon is based on the golems of Hebrew legend. The legends cast them as servants of higher powers and are said to have writing on their heads. When the writing is removed, the creature would be weakened.
