This card was included as a Regular card, a Full Art ultra rare card, a special illustration rare card, and a gold etched hyper rare card in the Paldea Evolved expansion, first released in the Japanese Snow Hazard expansion. The Regular, Full Art, and hyper rare prints feature artwork by aky CG Works, while the special illustration rare print features artwork by kodama.
It was reprinted as an SVP Black Star Promo with different artwork by aky CG Works and was available in the Chien-Pao ex Battle Deck from July 14, 2023. The SVP Black Star Promo print was released in Japan, alongside a gold raised foil hyper rare print with artwork by aky CG Works, as part of the Shiny Treasure ex subset. The Shiny Treasure ex hyper rare print was subsequently included in the special Paldean Fates expansion.
An oversized version of the Paldea Evolved Regular print bearing the expansion logo on the left side of the artwork as given away with eligible Pokémon Trading Card Game purchases in various countries. In France, it was available starting July 20, 2023 and given away with purchases worth at least €25 from participating Smyths stores.[1] In the Czech Republic, it was available from October 21, 2023 and given to customers who purchased at least 499 Kč worth of TCG products at participating JRC or Smarty stores, or from their online shops.[2] It was also available from the same date in Slovakia and was given to customers who purchased at least €19.99 worth of TCG products at participating BRLOH or Smarty stores, or from their online shops.[3] The oversized print was also available in Germany, but the date and method of its distribution is currently unknown.
A new print with artwork by aky CG Works was included in the Japanese Battle Master Deck Chien-Pao ex, released on May 17, 2024. A version of the Regular print featuring a silver snowflake stamp was available in the Holiday Calendar 2024 from August 23, 2024.
