Wailord (Japanese: ホエルオー Whaloh; German: Wailord; French: Wailord) is a Water-type Pokémon.
At fourteen and one half meters, Wailord is the largest Pokémon known to man. Despite its immense size, it can still breed with a Pokémon as small as Skitty.
Name origin
Wailord's name is a combination of whale and lord. Its Japanese name is probably a combination of whale and 王 ō, king.
This Pokémon is based on the blue whale, the world's biggest animal.
