Fire Fang (Japanese: ほのおのキバ Fire Fang) is a damage-dealing Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation IV.

Effect

Fire Fang deals damage and has a 10% chance of burning the opponent. It also has a 10% chance of causing the target to flinch, if the user attacks before the target. Fire Fang inexplicably bypasses Wonder Guard, even if it used is on a Pokémon that does not have a weakness to Fire-type moves (e.g. a Porygon2 that used Trace on a Shedinja). This does not apply to Ice Fang and Thunder Fang, however.
