Release information
The non-holographic version of this card was reprinted in the Base Set 2 reprint set, which was only released outside of Japan.
Trivia
- A number of early Unlimited run prints have no Jungle expansion symbol. This error occurs on the holographic version only.
- Venomoth has a resistance to Fighting-types, despite not being a Template:Type2, likely due to the fact that it has wings and can fly. This also happens with Beedrill and Flying Pikachu, but oddly not with Heracross.
Origin
Shift's Japanese name is that of Color Change, an ability in the Pokémon games; however, Venomoth cannot have it. This card's English Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Red and Blue, though it is slightly reworded. The Japanese entry comes from Pokémon Red and Green.
