Revelation Dance (Japanese: めざめるダンス Awakening Dance) is a damage-dealing Normal-type move introduced in Generation VII. It is the signature move of Oricorio.
Effect
Revelation Dance inflicts damage and has no secondary effect. The type of Revelation Dance always matches the user's primary type.
If a Pokémon has no primary type (due to being a primary Fire-type Pokémon that has used Burn Up), Revelation Dance's type will match its secondary type if it has any, or else be typeless (in which case Revelation Dance will not be receiving STAB).
Revelation Dance is unaffected by Pixilate, Refrigerate, Aerilate, and Galvanize. However, it is affected by Ion Deluge (if the move would be Normal-type).
Regardless of Revelation Dance's actual type, it is always treated as Normal-type for Z-Move mechanics and can only ever be transformed into Breakneck Blitz dealing Normal-type damage.

Oricorio dances around, rubbing the ends of its wings together, and gathering electricity. It then throws its wings forward, and a bolt of yellow electricity shoots out from in front of the wings, towards the opponent. | |||
