Secret Sword (Japanese: しんぴのつるぎ Secret Sword) is a damage-dealing Fighting-type move introduced in Generation V. It is the signature move of Keldeo.
Effect
Secret Sword inflicts damage. Despite being a special move, Secret Sword uses the target's Defense instead of its Special Defense to calculate damage. Due to being a special move, it activates Mirror Coat (not Counter), has its damage reduced by Light Screen (not Reflect), activates the Maranga Berry (not the Kee Berry), etc. If used by a Pokémon with Sharpness, its power is increased by 50%.
Generation VIII
Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
Secret Sword cannot be selected in a battle.
Generation IX
In Versions 1.0 to 2.0.2 of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Secret Sword could not be selected in a battle. Starting with Version 3.0.0, it is usable and functions the same as it did in previous generations.
Other effects
If Keldeo is taught Secret Sword between Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 and Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, it will change into its Resolute Form. If it forgets Secret Sword, it returns to its Ordinary Form. Keldeo taught Secret Sword in Pokémon Black and White remain in its Ordinary Form in other games.
In Pokémon Sword and Shield onwards, Keldeo in its Ordinary Form with Secret Sword will change to Resolute Form when it is in the party and either a battle ends or a move is taught to any Pokémon in the party.

Various Move Tutors will teach Secret Sword to a Keldeo. In some cases, Keldeo can learn the move when brought to certain locations under certain conditions. The Move Tutors are:
- BW: Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion at the Moor of Icirrus, if the player brings them and Keldeo in the party.
- B2W2: a large rock in the Pledge Grove, if the player brings Keldeo in the party.
- XY: an Ace Trainer in Snowbelle City.
- ORAS: a man in Crooner's Café.
- SMUSUM: a Gentleman in Hano Grand Resort.
