Rikako Aikawa

Rikako Aikawa (Japanese: 愛河里花子 Aikawa Rikako) is a Japanese seiyū for the Pokémon anime.

Biography

Aikawa was born on October 7, 1967, in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, and became a seiyū as an adult. In the anime, Aikawa provided dozens of voices, mostly of Pokémon, up until the end of Advanced Generation series where she went on a long hiatus. She eventually returned in BW055, providing the voice of Katharine's Gothita, and went on to voice a number of other notables in the anime ever since. Her real name is Nahomi Iwata (Japanese: 岩田菜穂美, née 川添 Kawazoe). She also used the name Nao Kannazuki (Japanese: 神無月なお Kannazuki Nao).
